AirScooter is one of many utility abilities for an Airbender. It is a fast way to travel across flat areas such as oceans, deserts, plains, etc. It is not used for scaling things such as mountains, but in terms of flat travel, AirScooter is the best ability for it.
Players: How to use[]
AirScooter is one of the hardest Airbending abilities to master. Skillful use will take a lot of trial and error, but with practice, you'll have it down in no time. The first thing you want to do is bind AirScooter, you can do this with the following command:
/bending bind AirScooter
Once you have AirScooter bound, run, jump, then click to activate it. You do not need to control the scooter, just turn it when needed. The AirScooter will glide until you hit an object.
To view the in-game help, use the command:
/bending help AirScooter
Admins: Permissions[]
By default, all airbenders will have access to this move. If you run an advanced permissions setup and would rather use the node to negate it, etc, use the following:
bending.air.AirScooter
Additionally, if you want to use a node that controls all Airbending, use the following:
bending.air.*

A server admin can configure the speed of the AirScooter by using the following in the permissions file.
Properties: Air: AirScooter: Speed: 0.675
Be careful with spacing when editing a yml file. Spacing and formatting is crucial. Always use spaces instead of tabs to prevent error.
